Hotel du Col de Fenêtre

Such great hospitality!! Loved the dinner, probably the best we've had on the hike in a couple days. The waitress was amazing and kind. We had potatoes, chicken, soup and a great icecream dessert! Bed was outrageously comfortable, and the room was clean. The location is amazing, and there are cows with bells walking all around. Meals have a view of the mountain and it's right along the TMB trail. Breakfast was some jam, toast, and orange juice/coffee.

We stayed here on our 7th day of the TMB trail. It’s located very close to it, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Probably the nicest people we’ve encountered so far. Dinner was the best we’ve had. I had read other reviews so we had low hopes, but we were very impressed by the quality and portions. I’m vegetarian and they served me a veggie burger which was very welcomed as veg options on the trail are limited. The rooms were clean and cozy. With the windows shut it’s warm and open it’s very cool. This was the most comfortable we’ve been while on the trail. I highly recommend staying here or stopping in for a meal.

I slept here while doing the TMB route. Very nice hotel if you want to visit Lacs de Fenetre. The views from the terrace are amazing.The managers and staff are very welcoming and kind, they recommended me to visit Cabane d'Orny, near Champex lac, and It was a really good afternoon hike, thank you for all!!

Wonderful high mountain hotel / refuge in the enchanted valley of Ferret, Switzerland. We stayed a week and rode all the routes in the surrounding area with our electric bikes! Excellent and familiar welcome. Excellent quality of food, carefully researched by local suppliers and cooked all at home. Beautiful mountain style rooms. Fresh and sunny garden where you can drink end rest. Changing staff available and sympathetic. They speak Italian, English and French all the time! Super recommended for all ages, pets allowed and parking free.

All the workers were very kind. The dormitories and showers were very clean. Dinner was also good, homemade lasagna and soup+dessert. Didn't try the homemade tarts but they looked delicious. Nice stop to have a snack break even if you don't spend the night.
